As you may well know, the warehouse we operated from was damaged by fire on 16th June 2022, and we have been working extremely hard to resume our operations as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to pull out of the deal we were in the process of securing.
The good news is that we have found another unit, and we are starting the legal process as we speak.
This means that the new timeline for our reopening is around end of January or February, but there is a chance that it's a bit sooner than that.
We are sad to be unable to reopen in time for Xmas 2022, but as I'm sure you'll understand, some situations are beyond our direct control.
We'll remain positive and commit to work diligently to resume our operations as soon as humanly possible.

1. First things first: huge THANK YOU!
On behalf of all of us at Vegan Wholesaler, I would like to take a moment to express the huge amount of gratitude I feel because of the kindness that many of you have shown over this difficult period.
Although I haven’t had the time and mental tranquillity to reply to everyone YET, I’d like to let you know that it's not being unnoticed. So, again: Thank you so much! (I really mean it, and we all do here!)
2. Second: a bit of thinking (Beware: profound thoughts ahead!)
These types of situations are never easy to deal with. All the fruits of the hard work that you put in for years: gone, in just 1 day. But that’s life: things can happen.
These things shake you up somehow someway. They force you to pause, think (rethink, and overthink!). But they can knock you down only if you allow them to. We did not let it happen.
We took the much-needed time to reflect and then we gathered our strength, went back up, and kept looking forward. We took a closer look at our core values, our purpose and our resources.
We questioned whether it is sensible to continue, whether it is possible to continue, and whether it is desirable to continue...
The answer? Absolutely! YES!
They say ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’. Can we also add that where there’s wounding there’s scarring? There’s regeneration, there’s rebuilding.
What an opportunity for a fresh start! We feel blessed and empowered.
Surely not the time to throw the towel or bemoan. On the contrary: time to get back to work.
There's a lot of work to do and not a lot of time to pull it off. At the same time, we are mindful of the fact that you've been waiting patiently to order your favourite vegan products once again.
We do not take your patience for granted. The current economic climate is particularly challenging, let alone to have setbacks in your operations. We understand that we are causing an inconvenience to you, which isn't your fault, but you’re going to make up for it. Promise! (virtual handshake)
This is why we’ve been working hard to ensure that we can resume our operations and be able to provide you with the service we pride ourselves in offering.
3. Last, but not least: the announcement
We are extremely excited to announce that we have secured a brand-new, state of the art warehouse. (See, I told you, it isn’t just talking. We are on it for real!)
This wasn't an easy thing to pull off, but with perseverance we can now say that work is underway to officially have access to our new facilities in the next few weeks.
Now, unfortunately, things aren't as quick as we wish they were. Legal processes, plans and strategies take a while to complete, but while some of these processes are ongoing, we are making sure to put ourselves in the best possible position to be able to reopen as soon as we can while ensuring the high standards you deserve.
There is no firm timeline yet, but as of now we envision to reopen our operations at some point in early to mid November. I know this sounds like a long time away (we feel the same way!), but who could have foreseen these last 3 months going by this quickly? Anyway, we will continue to update you on the new developments when we get closer to the date.
