The Alternative Food’s Gluten-Free “Savoy Soul” Ladyfingers are a revelation – sponge fingers made with vegetable ingredients! Intended as a substitute for the traditional Italian Savoiardi biscuit sponge fingers; it’s time to up your vegan tiramisù game!

Based on rice flour, these gluten-free, vegan biscuits are something that all can enjoy! With the texture and sweet taste of their traditional counterparts, these fingers are the perfect shortcut for your cake and patisserie needs! With a slightly thinner size and less airiness than some other Savoiardi varieties, these biscuits remain more solid, since they absorb less liquid – this makes them perfect for tiramisù, as it helps to prevent sogginess!

They also work wonderfully well in trifles, and Charlotte cakes; you may have heard the latter referred to as an ‘icebox’ cake, which makes them perfect when entertaining, as you can do all your prep beforehand and wow your guests with the grand reveal when it emerges from the fridge! They are also wonderful simply served alongside the hot drink of your choosing.

The Alternative Food’s Gluten-Free “Savoy Soul” Savoiardi-style Ladyfingers are most at home in a tiramisù, but they also work wonderfully well in trifles and Charlotte/icebox cakes.
