Shore’s story began when they recognised a neglected historic superfood right on their doorstep in Wick, North Scotland. The region’s cool clean waters provide the perfect conditions for nutrient-dense seaweed to thrive. A naturally regenerative plant, seaweed is an incredible source of prebiotic fibre, protein, magnesium, antioxidants and iodine, which are vital minerals for our bodies and minds. The team at Shore lovingly handpick and carefully dry the seaweed to preserve all its natural goodness, before transforming it into their everyday snacks and foods that not only taste great, but are sustainable, good for the coastal environment, and beneficial to the local rural communities too.
