With the soya beans sourced 100% from European farmers, you can rest assured that this product is not only completely GMO-free, but also arrives at our doorstep with a reduced carbon footprint thanks to its shorter transport routes. A state-of-the-art production process ensures that these vegetable protein chunks are premium quality and free from chemical residues. Heat treating the soya beans also maintains their natural components such as high protein content, healthy fats, vitamin E and lecithin – that’s what we like to hear!

And, if this wasn’t already good enough, the textured soya protein’s structure and iconic coarse-grained character remains unchanged after freezing and defrosting meaning it’s perfect for bulk boosting those comfort meals!

Store at a temperature between 10˚C and 25˚C in a dark and dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight and strong odours.

50-60% relative humidity is ideal.

Once opened, the sack should be kept tightly closed, or transfer the contents into an airtight container.

Once cooked, can be frozen without losing structure.

The beauty of this soya protein is the fact that it naturally absorbs the flavours during cooking, making it an extremely versatile vegan meat alternative.

If your dish is dry, soak the soya chunks in hot water (or stock) for a few minutes before adding for optimum expansion. If your meal is full of tasty sauce already, simply add the soya protein straight away to soak up all those juices.

Our favourite way to use these soya protein chunks is in a hearty British vegetable and gravy pie for that extra texture. They are also ideal for stews, goulash, and ragout.
