Recommended Uses

Sgaia’s Original Steak block is ready to be chopped and eaten as desired, but cooking will further enhance its taste and texture. It is best when sizzled in a well-oiled pan, and even better with a touch of soya sauce!

This vegan Original steak block can also be griddled, barbecued, and even microwaved for no longer than 45 seconds at 1000W. Or, chop and add straight into stews and sauces in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Oven roasting is not advised.

Try Sgaia’s Original Steak stuffed in a sandwich, stirred into stir-fries, or sliced onto mashed potato with some homemade peppercorn sauce…yum!

Being a small business based in Scotland, Sgaia began due to a desire to recreate the national treasure of the Lorne sausage, only this time it would be vegan! Bored of flavourless burgers, the team did a great deal of research and development to provide foods with uncompromised taste whilst packing in the protein.
