Marigold’s Organic Engevita Yeast Flakes provide a rich source of B vitamins and minerals, as well as delivering a delicious natural cheesy and nutty flavour to many meals. Loved across the globe, so-called “nooch” is a staple for many vegans!

This primary inactive yeast is a natural food grown on fortified beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. Engevita flakes contain no artificial additives or preservatives, and are entirely gluten free and vegan friendly – woohoo!

Dissolve these organic yeast flakes in water or plant milk to create delicious sauces, or sprinkle on top of soups, salads and pasta dishes to enhance their flavour.

Cooking Tips

Marigold’s Engevita Organic Yeast Flakes are super versatile and will add a delicious nutty, cheesy flavour to many meals, whether blended or sprinkled. Plus, lots of great colour and nutrients!

Mix with your favourite plant mylk and spices for a tasty cheesy sauce and pour onto pasta, layer into lasagnes, or dollop onto dauphinoise potatoes!

These yeast flakes can also be dissolved into stews and soups to enrich the flavour, or simply sprinkled onto salads, risottos and spaghetti Bolognese. Oh, and don’t forget to add it to your scrambled tofu and seitan!
