Honest Toil have branched out (pun intended!) from olive oils to the olives themselves. These PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) Kalamata olives are expertly prepared by their neighbour Yannis Stathopoulos, and are preserved only in extra virgin olive oil, and salt water – so the olives can truly shine.
Made without preservatives or additives, these whole (mind the stone!), large Kalamata olives are juicy and fleshy, and have a beautiful, dark purple-black colour.
These olives are wonderfully versatile and work particularly well in Greek dishes (especially a ‘village salad’), mezze, grazing boards, pizzas, pasta and even in savoury vegan muffins.
