The No-Egg Egg by Crackd is an innovative liquid vegan egg alternative that can be used in a large variety of formats. This low fat creation cooks, bakes, acts and tastes just like the real deal, except it is amazingly completely void of the 14 main allergens and is 100% plant-based!

We think it’s safe to say that the team have absolutely “cracked” it with this ready-to-pour egg replacement. After over 46 attempts at nailing the final recipe, they achieved a product that contains no artificial colours or flavourings, and is beneficially fortified with vitamins D and B12.

Every bottle of The No-Egg Egg boasts the equivalent of a whopping 6 eggs, so a little goes a long way.

The No-Egg Egg can be frozen. It is recommended to defrost it in the fridge for 12 hours before use.

Recommended Uses

Crackd’s The No-Egg Egg is a completely versatile liquid egg replacement that can be used in almost any instance that would normally require eggs, both sweet and savoury.

For baking, 1 egg is about 58g of The No-Egg Egg. As a general rule of thumb when baking with this product, it is recommended to reduce the temperature stated in the usual recipe by 10°C and add an extra 15 minutes to the time as The No-Egg Egg takes a little longer to cook than a conventional egg. However, everybody’s recipes and ovens are different, so keep an eye on it. We’re sure you’ll crack it!

The No-Egg Egg is incredibly easy to use in baking – try pouring it into cake batter, cookie mix, the pancake bowl and more. You can also make your very own vegan custard to go with your tasty desserts.

This egg replacer is also ideal for filling frittatas and quiches, dredging French toast, and making fresh pasta. Of course, no roast dinner is complete without some fluffy Yorkshire puddings either, but Crackd have got you covered there.

And, if you’re after the simple things, then The No-Egg Egg is brilliant for comforting scrambled eggs for brekkie, and your favourite lunchtime omelettes. For 1 portion of scrambled (120g), heat a little oil in a non-stick pan on a medium heat, add Crackd and stir immediately. Continue stirring for 3-5 until firm.

Crackd can also be scrambled in the microwave (750w)! For one portion (120g) heat in a microwave-safe container on full power for 1 minute, stir, then heat for another minute. Remove and stir once more and let rest for another minute before serving.
